Lost Kingdom at Paulton’s Park takes shape

Paulton’s Park are pulling out all the stops with their new area; The Lost Kingdom.

The dinosaur themed area is set to open on Tuesday 17th May and features TWO brand new coasters from Vekoma.

Flight of the Pterosaur is a Suspended Family Coaster that reaches heights of 65ft and features plenty of twists and turns and shallow drops. VelociRaptor is a Family Boomerang Coaster similar to the Ben 10 ride at Drayton Manor, but with a custom layout.

In line with the park’s target audience, the two new coasters are both perfect for families and those children looking to experience something a little different without being scarred for life. The rides both carry a minimum height restriction of 1.0M.

As well as the two coasters the new area will feature a range of other rides and attractions, made up of a mixture of new and rethemed existing rides. These are all named according to the new theme and include The Dinsaur Tour Co, Boulder Dash, Temple Heights and Dino Chase.

We can’t wait to visit the park this season. Paulton’s have already established themselves as being one of the best family theme parks in the UK, and have recently been showing a real enthusiasm for theming new attractions and genuinely creating immersive environments that children can enjoy.

Can’t wait until 17th May? Take a ride on the VelociRaptor now in the video below.
