All the fun of the fair took hold in Nottingham as hundreds of fairground fans flocked to see their favourite attractions in miniature form.
Taking place annually to coincide with the Nottingham Goose Fair, this year’s model show was held on Saturday 8th October. The show boasted something for everyone, from the old school fun of the Waltzers right through to dizzying modern thrill rides such as the Miami and the Sizzler.
The talk of the show this year was undoubtedly this incredible miniature Ferris Wheel complete with colour changing light show.
Built by S&B Models for David Wragg, the ride is a replica of a Lamberink RL45 Ferris Wheel. It’s almost 2 metres tall and takes 3.5 hours to set up. But don’t worry, we’ve made a video condensing this into a few minutes.
Hi, I am looking for a model builder who would make a model waltzer ride. It’s a special present and needs to be 1/24 or bigger. I have seen many models on you tube but never any contact details. If you can help I would be grateful.
Thank you
Graham
